AR Rahman pays tribute to music composer Wajid Khan, says ‘Gone too soon’ – Times of India

Music Maestro AR Rahman on Monday paid tribute to music composer Wajid Khan by sharing a monochromatic throwback image with the late music artist and his brother Sajid Khan.

Taking over Instagram, the 53-year-old singer and music producer posted an image that featured him with the musical duo — Sajid and Wajid. Within the image, Rahman is seen seated subsequent to Sajid and Wajid on the units of a singing actuality TV present.

The Oscar-winning music composer captioned the photograph, “Gone too quickly #RIPWajidKhan #innaillahiwainnaialihirajioon.”

Wajid Khan handed away at a hospital in Mumbai on the age of 42 on Monday. The final music he composed was for Salman Khan. Titled ‘Bhai Bhai’, Salman had penned the lyrics and despatched it to composer-friends Sajid-Wajid, who had set the tune in a day.

Quickly, many Bollywood celebs took to their respective social media handles to mourn the demise of the singer.
